- The 8th of August 2003 the new temperature record in German was recorded. This was 40,8 degrees centigrade in the shade. According to the statistics the highest purchasing power among the German population has the people elder 50 years old. This group takes immovable property alone for half million Euro; - Age group of people from 50 to 69 years old is the dynamic growing class of internet users. Nowadays 4,5 million of aged people use internet in their everyday life; - According to the UNO estimates the middle age of the humanity is 26,5 years. German is the most aged country in the world, the middle age of the population there is 40,1 years; - Oktoberfest was booked at Guinness Book as the greatest holiday in the world; -During the festival nearly 7 million liters of beer are being absorbed and being eaten are: 600 000 grilled chickens and the same quantity of sausages, 65 000 portions of pork briskets and about 84 bulls; - While the festive occasion lasts there are 2,8 million kW of electricity, 200 000 cubic metres of gas and 80 000 cubic metres of water being used up. After two days of celebrations there are 500 and more tones of food waste and garbage being remained; - For two weeks of celebrations the visitors use to take up more than 70 000 of “mass”, the one-liter beer mug, in remembrance of merry-making; - By the time of Oktoberfest the special half-brown heavy ale, the Oktoberfest beer, is being brewed. The beer is being brewed in March, ferments during the summer and to beginning of the festival it acquires the best flavor.
